About 12 years ago, Sefton walked away from a successful career in the hotel industry to see if he could make a living as an artist. Eventually people started noticing. His work moved from community exhibitions into professional galleries. Artists residencies and critical acclaim soon followed. Now he's taken things up another level, with his first exhibition in a public gallery. 'Clear my throat' at the Pah Homestead in Auckland.
